TPL FACTS

- Member towns for 2011-Cohasset, Duxbury, Norwell, Hingham, Lincoln Sudbury, Concord-Carlisle, Medfield, Needham, Billerica, Wellesley, Dover-Sherborn, Andover, Winchester.

- Teams will be aligned by grade with a coordinator assigned to each grade.

- 3rd and 4th grade teams will play in a 7 v 7 format across the field which is the best method for developing young players. Everyone gets to touch the ball and the field size allows players to focus on playing, not trying to catch their breath.

- 5th grade teams will be balanced as players continue to develop and play in a full field format.

- 6th & 7th grade teams will be have A & B teams for each grade with a fair tryout process to determine proper team placement. No one will be cut.

- For this season, the 8th grade will have one team and the plan is to go to the A/B format next season.
